A vest design inspired by Japanese temari, an embroidered ball of thread surrounding a wish written on paper. This ball is traditionally gifted from mother to daughter around the time of birth as a symbol of feminine affection. This vest is a wearable hug, archiving my friend’s well wishes for me.
